| Raikkonen's father dies at 56
Kimi Raikkonen's father has died.
The Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung said Matti Raikkonen, who was 56, died unexpectedly on Wednesday.
The report said the 2007 world champion and 2010 world rally driver's management had asked the media to respect the Finn's privacy as the family grieves.
"Something like this - especially at Christmas - is very difficult, especially for families," said Raikkonen's spokesman Riku Kuvaja to Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat. |

Former Formula 1 world champion Kimi Raikkonen apparently is considering after the sudden death of his father Matti his career end. "Right now everything is on hold," said Kaj Lindström Raikkönens Co-Pilot of the Finnish newspaper 'Iltalehti' on the plans Raikkönens with a death case.
Raikkonen was changed before the last season of the Champions League for the World Rally Championship. His father died two days before Christmas at the age of 56. Matti Raikkonen Kimi's career had supported early and was a constant companion of his son.
On the future Raikkönens there had been earlier speculation. Although he had stressed recently, love to stay in the World Rally Championship. For which team he could drive in 2011, but is not clear. His sponsor (Red Bull) are hesitant to extend the contract with the 31-year-olds. |

Ho notato una cosa: vicino al titolo del topic c'è una faccina sorridente, purtroppo mi sono accorto solo ora di questo sbaglio, se c'è un metodo per poterla cambiare (dato che non sò se è possibile) lo faccio subito...

mi spiace per Kimi e la sua famiglia...ho tolto la faccina sorridente...non volevo metterci nulla ma una bisogna mettercene per forza
